ABOUT TERRACE SQUASH

Terrace Squash, at the Hyatt Centre, is the premier Squash venue in central Perth. The centre is ideally located to provide a valuable sporting and social experience for the increasing population of residential and corporate employees in the CBD and East Perth area. Terrace Squash provides an ambient and welcoming area in which to workout and meet others. The centre is set up with respect for the traditions of Squash, but has a contemporary feel. It boasts eight glass-backed courts and offers air-conditioning throughout, quality change facilities and a comfortable recreational area in which to relax before and after a game. Terrace Squash is managed by WA Squash, the State’s Squash Association responsible for administering and promoting the sport in WA.

Squash is played by over 30,000 people in WA (Australian Bureau of Statistics). It is a sport that is enjoyed by all ages, whether played competitively or just for fun. A great lifestyle choice, Squash offers a sun-safe and secure environment - important for kids in particular. Squash has convenience on its side. 30 minutes on the Squash court provides an impressive cardio-respiratory workout. Extended rallies and almost constant running builds muscular strength, endurance and flexibility.
